I know I said that my ventures to the Beauty Boutique will be on a NEED basis only. I may have exaggerated a tinsy bit. Last week my sister was getting her face done at the Boutique, testing some new foundations (she went with Estee Lauder by the way, it looks great). So while she was in the hands of the Boutique experts, I did what I do best, shop at shoppers. I wasn’t in need of a whole lot, but there were some items that really caught my eye. I promise I did need some of them!!

The first purchase was the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel. This moisturizer is the same as the Dramatically Different Moisturizer, but without the oil base. I’ve used Clinique moisturizers before and I love them! So I’m really looking forward to using this one, it’s been awhile since I’ve used Clinique products!!

The second purchase was the Benefit Porefessional Pore Balm to minimize the appearance of pores. I recently got a small sample of this from Sephora and I love it. I use it as a primer under my foundation, and it seriously works. Really minimizes the look of pores, and it smells great!! Fresh and kinda fruity! Definitely a good buy. Every other primer I’ve used before have been quite greasy feeling. But this is lovely.

Third is the Biotherm Tonifying Exfoliating Cleansing Gel. I’ve used a few Biotherm products in the past. I used one of the cleansing milks, as well as the Aquasource moisturizer (which I LOVE), but I’ve never used one of their exfoliating cleansers. Since I’m about to start a new work assignment on the road I needed a new face wash that can be closed and that I can put in my bag (I left one of my favourites (Aveeno Daily Exfoliator) in my last hotel). I’m really looking forward to this one!

 

Finally, I bought something that I’ve been dying to try for so long!! The Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum. Most of the blogs and vlogs that I follow have featured and reviewed this product over the past year, and I’m so excited that I finally have my hands on it!! I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m already in love with it’s smell! So fruity! YUM! I can’t wait to try it!!
