Rocky Mountain Soap Co.

I am currently on a work assignment in Alberta and I stumbled across the Rocky Mountain Soap Co. I think it was the smell that drew me towards the store. Not only is it such a nice looking place, but you can smell the fresh and flowery scent from miles away. The store is a lot like Lush, but more nature-y. To compare the two, I would say that Lush is very much like candy, whereas Rocky Mountain is more like a walk in the garden. It is absolutely wonderful. I didn’t want to leave.

When I walked in I realized that I had been there before. A few years ago while I was in Calgary I bought one of their body butters, the best part of which is that it comes in packaging similar to a deodorant stick. That means you don’t have to get your hands all lotion-y while trying to apply it and rub it in. But I quickly ran out of it since it was amazing. The store has an amazing selection for sensitive skin, eczema, babies, men, sun protection, bug protection, perfumes, infusers, etc.

I only spent about $20 in the store this time. I bought a Lavender Body Butter, as well as two bars of homemade soaps: Lavender and Green Tea. I’m super excited to use the soaps, and I’ve already cracked into the Body Butter. It’s absolutely amazing!!! Not too greasy like other thick body butters. And I love that I don’t have to get my hands dirty when I really only want to put it on my elbows, knees, and feet. The lavender smell is heavenly, and I know that it has added to the amazing sleeps that I’ve been having.

I really really hope that make it back to the store to get some more before I leave Alberta. I’ve heard the bath salts are to die for, as well as the massage oils. I’m already completely hooked.

AND THE BEST PART? Until October 31 of this year you can get free shipping when you order at http://www.rockymountainsoap.com if you enter the code: SUNSHINETD The pricing is great! And sooooooooo worth it!! So get shopping my lovelies! And discover why it’s so easy to love Rocky Mountain Soap Co.
