What’s On My Face?

Nothing special for today, just going out for dinner with family. But today I used some of my recent purchases and I thought I’d let you know my first thoughts.

I started with the ever present Benefit Porefessional Pro Balm of course, topped off with my new Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation. My first impression is love!! I managed to pick the perfect shade even though they didn’t have any testers on the shelf. I know I’m gonna like this one. I think I already like it better than my Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum. Topped that off with my new Rimmel Stay Matte powder. Can’t really say right now whether or not I’m ‘staying matte’ but I can already tell that I like it. Perfect finish without the slight shimmer that other translucent powders leave. Today I wanted a bit of colour on my cheeks without going pinkish, so I used my MAC Bronzing Powder for a nice tanned finish. (me? tanned? never).

My eyes were pretty simple today. I used my new Covergirl Flamed Out shadow pencil. Its great all-over coverage. Feels pretty wet and kinda creamy when it first goes one, but I kinda smoothed it out with my fingers and, just as I thought, has a finish exactly like the Maybelline Colour Tattoos. I did a slight cat-eye today with my trusty Maybelline Master Precise black liquid eyeliner pen, then finished off with the Revlon Lash Potion mascara.

To finish the whole thing I tried out my new Covergirl LipPerfection Jumbo Gloss Balm in Rose Twist. So far so good. Perfect pinky/natural lips. And not glossy as the name might lead you to think. Very natural looking.

So there you have it. A simple summer day with some of my new products! Have you used any of these products before? What do you think?
