In my world there is nothing more powerful than scent. It can literally stop me in my tracks, interrupt me mid-sentance, and make something simple seem so important. Yet there is an incredibly fine line between chaos and perfection in the realm of olfactory. I’m very hard to please when it comes to perfumes, so when I find one that can change my world, it’s worth sharing.

Jo Malone, as many know, is one of those special purchases that aren’t made very often. A pretty pricy little beauty that just radiates luxury. For my 23rd Birthday back in October, my wonderful sister gave me the Jo Malone Earl Grey and Cucumber Cologne, which I’ve been eyeing up and drooling over for about two years now. I just couldn’t justify the purchase.

The cologne is a fabulous mix of fresh bergamot (found in Earl Grey tea) and crunchy cucumber. A relaxing scent of a classic afternoon tradition and warm comfort (and no…you won’t smell like a cup of tea). With undertones of beeswax, vanilla and musk, the Earl Grey and Cucumber Cologne has turned me upside down and made each and every day a beautiful one. I’m amazed at how much a scent can move me.
