Another busy December has come and gone which means it’s time to celebrate! I work for a large Canadian company that is bombarded with crazy schedules and assignments each and every Christmas-time (as you may have noticed from my recent travel schedule and hectic moods). So when our busy period winds down and everyone can breathe a sigh of relief, we celebrate. We have our Christmas party in January and I kinda like it that way. (see last year’s party here)

Our celebration took place this past weekend and I couldn’t have had a better time. It’s one of the only times Corey and I get to dress up and go all out! He wore his Calvin Klein suit and I put on a old dress that I’ve only ever been able to wear once before. A little black and white Taylor number from the Hudson Bay Company many moons ago (you don’t always need to splurge for something new, this one got me a lot of compliments!).

Of course my favourite part of the entire evening was getting ready. I’m currently working on editing a Get Ready With Me video and am still unsure as to whether I’m going to post it, but for now here is what I wore on my face for the evening!
