I love award season! Yet maybe not for the reason others do. I couldn’t really care less about who wins what and the controversial or life changing speeches are made. What I do love is the red carpet, the amazing outfits and the trend-setting fashions that stun the crowds and make me wish I could dazzle the streets with these styles. I’ve chosen a few of my favourites from the Grammys, BAFTAs and Oscars from the past few weeks!

From the Grammy’s this year I LOVED Anna Kendrick’s simple, sleek and amazingly sexy Band of Outsiders suit. With no shirt underneath, the masculine suit was turned super-sexy and Anna Kendrick’s bad-ass style wowed! I also loved Giuliana Rancic’s Steven Khalil dress with the high slit and sexy cut-outs. Then last but not least, Gwen Stefani’s Atelier Versace jumpsuit stood out the most! I absolutely fell in love with it! Such amazing detail and such a sexy fit: tapered at the waist and billowy pants that are tight at the shins, paired with pointed heels. And I love that she traded in her signature red lip for a perfect nude.

From the BAFTA’s two really stood out to me. The first was Laura Bailey in Emilia Wickstead. The dress was so simple, so elegant, and I absolutely loved it! The lines were absolutely perfect. Almost wedding dress-esque. I also loved Holliday Grainger in a black and white v-neck dress. I love the simplicity.

And last but not least, the Oscars. Marion Cotillard in Dior Haute Couture and Naomi Watts in Armani Prive were my two favourites! Absolute perfection! Marion Cotillard’s train was so elegant and Naomi Watts’ amazing colours and sexy style.

I think we can see a pattern on my fashion tastes. I absolutely love simple, monochrome fashions and I really hope to take some inspiration from these amazing award season fashions! What were your favourite styles this award season?
