The unemployed life can be a little slow. I may think that I can fill my days with job searching and networking, but the truth is that after a few hours a day I’m spent (you can only look at the same job postings so many times). So with so much time on my hands I’ve been filling my days with a lot of books and a lot of Netflix….I really need to find a hobby.

I’ve covered quite a few Netflix series recently – Finishing off Friends, getting a good way through Downton Abbey and Happy Endings as well as a healthy dose of That 70s Show and The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. There is nothing better than binge watching!

For the recent reads I’ve certainly found a good few lately. My Mexico trip involved The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion as well as the beginnings of The Clifton Chronicles by Jeffery Archer, a 5 book series that I’ve become completely addicted to. I’ve just begun Still Alice by Lisa Genova, which has recently been in theatres as a movie starring Julianne Moore.

I highly recommend all of these shows and all of these books. My boring life needs to find a hobby but in the meantime I’ve really been enjoying my reads and watching needs.
