With prices constantly rising and packaging getting smaller and smaller, saving money is sometimes key when it comes to a daily makeup routine. So many people have been asking me for my recommendations lately, all the while reminding me they don’t want to spend a fortune on a simple face. So it’s time to share my favourite daily ‘budget’ face. All products and tools (a total of 8 items) came to $47.73! A perfect daily face for under $50?!! Perfect
I started with Revlon’s Nearly Naked foundation in Shell, a perfect light coverage foundation to even out my skin tones. I apply this with the Spa Resource Foundation Brush and finish off the dark spots and circles with the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser. After a tiny bit of Revlon’s PhotoReady Cream Blush in Just Pinched (applied with my fingertips) I finish off the brows with the Revlon Brow Fantasy in Brunette. Last but not least, the eyes are just as simple. I streak on the Covergirl Flamed Out Shadow Pencil in Melted Caramel and line it with a simple Maybelline Black Kohl Liner that I’ve had for years. Finished off with a few swipes of the Maybelline Great Lash: Lots of Lashes mascara. One of my first ever cosmetic purchases that I still repurchase to this day (although I didn’t have a current tube to photograph here….my apologies).
And there you have it! A great daily budget face consisting of 8 simple items. Very little technique, skill, or cosmetic knowledge required. None of the items were more than $10 individually, but are great quality and long lasting!
What are your favourite budget products? Did anyone find this helpful for an easy, no-fuss face?
