With Spring in full force and a glimpse of summer just around the corner, everyone is looking for the ‘fresh’ look. Whether it be clean white nails or the glimmer of a slight tan, the ‘barely there’ look and attitude is making a strong appearance. I’ve seen many other bloggers post about the ‘No Makeup’ makeup look, so I thought I’d share my take on it.
I start with an incredibly lightweight simple base, the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer, which I applying with the RealTechniques Expert Face Brush. Then a little Maybelline Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser action under the eyes. I use the RealTechniques Stippling Brush with a little bit of the Revlon Photoready Cream Blush in Just Pinched on my cheeks and finish everything off with a little bit of Anastasia Clear Brow Gel and L’Oreal’s Miss Manga mascara.
Simple, fresh, clean, barely-there makeup. Just enough to keep things simple for those days of running errands or even just those days you don’t want to pile on the makeup! This seems to be my go-to more and more often lately.
What do you reach for when you want a ‘barely-there’ look?
I have been meaning to try the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer. How are you enjoying? I love how simple this is. I normally just apply a bit of concealer and some powder, fill in my brows and apply mascara and that’s my version of a lazy “no makeup” look.

I might have to check it out. I haven’t gotten into the BB, CC and tinted moisturizers yet. I feel like this needs to change.
