It’s been awhile since I’ve had a hearty haul. I’ve picked up some bits and bobs over the last few months, but I hadn’t allowed myself to spend too much moola. Although a mass lay-off usually sets you up nicely for a little while, I became super money concious in my three months of unemployment, and I wanted to save as much as possible. Who knew how long it would be until I had a job?
But with a week of this new career under my belt, and with my friends coming for the weekend, I let loose on those purse strings (just a little) and picked up a few items I’ve been looking for lately (didn’t get to sephora so stay tuned for a sephora trip soon).
So what did I pick up you may ask?
L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Spray and Set Makeup Extender Setting Spray: I’ve had my eye on this for awhile and have read some amazing reviews on the L’Oreal Infallible products. I’ve used this for two days in a row so far and have seen a difference in the extended wear of my foundation! I’m really excited to review this product and try more of the L’Oreal Infallible line.
Bourjois Healthy Balance Powder: I needed a new powder since my Rimmel Stay-Matte cracked and died and I’ve, of course, always heard great things about the Bourjois Healthy Balance. I love the Healthy-Mix Serum foundation, and hopefully this is just as great.
L’Oreal #TXT [Textures] Spray: I’ve been looking for something to give a boost to my ever-flat hair. Especially in the most recent weather – I’ve got the Hermione look going on folks…but then it deflates horrible quickly.
Organix Kukui Oil Anti-Frizz Hydrating Oil: With the Hermione look in full swing, I need some help in the frizz-free department. Lets hope this helps (a suggestion from a friend, fingers crossed)
Maybelline Colour Tattoo Tough as Taupe: I LOVE the Maybelline Colour Tattoos and have been looking to add a new one to the collections…not sure why I’ve never bought this one before. In love.
Clinique Blushing Blush Powder: For the life of me I can’t remember the shade I bought (and while writing this I’m not at home to check) But I got this small travel-sized blusher that’s a beautiful spring shade. Can’t wait to use it.
There you have it. Can’t wait to give these all a go. What are your thoughts on some of these products? Any suggestions on use and techniques (especially with the Texturizing Spray)
