#seesummerbetter with Warby Parker

Everyone experiences Summer differently. With different events, travel destinations, and summer parties it’s always the best season for dressing up and having fun! Days are longer and outside is the place to be! But you always miss out on the best sights of summer when you’re not prepared. I’ve teamed up with Warby Parker to #seesummerbetter and I’ve snapped a few shots to give you a glimpse of my favourite activities so far this summer. Yet without a pair of Warby Parker’s, and with the sun beating down on my face, I’ve squinted and scowled into the sun. So I’ve chosen a pair of Warby Parker shades to pair up with each outfit and summer event.

One of my favourite Summer activities is being on the water. Whether I’m out on the boat or simply just hanging by the shore, I’ve always had a love of the lake and a yearning for the sounds of waves and gulls. We took a trip to the beautiful city of Kingston recently and I snapped this pic down by the docks. But to prevent the squinting face and the sun in my eyes, I’d choose Warby Parker’s Murphy shades in the colour Cognac Tortoise. These frames feature a really cool ring of vulcanite around the lenses and are the perfect addition to a relaxing sunny day on the water.

Picnic in the park? I tend to make this more of a daily occasion in my neighbourhood as the park is my favourite place to read my book. I’ll skip the ants and the sticky summery foods thanks. But, of course, I’d see this summer activity better with a pair of Warby Parker Willard shades in the colour Riesling. I love the sleep brow bar and the cutout bridge of the frames. These shades come from the new Circuit Collection, exemplifying the sleek lines and unexpected turns of a Grand Prix race track.

And, of course, Summer isn’t complete without a few weddings! This summer one of my best friends got married in one of the most beautiful venues I’ve ever seen. A recently refurbished barn on the most perfectly landscaped farmland. This called for something special. Probably my favourite of them all is the Warby Parker Piper in Petal Tortoise. I love the unusual, feminine colour of these bold frames with an understated cat-eye.

So stop squinting into the sun and make every summer occasion complete with a pair of shades from Warby Parker! #SEESUMMERBETTER  – which are your favourite pair?!
