Christmas 2015 Preview

That time of year has come. Wishlists are being published, cards are being written, and Christmas shopping has started. The Santa Clause parade is already over and done with and it’s time to enjoy the holiday season. But after a few weeks of enjoying the holly jolly-ness, the stress sets in. All those people you need to buy gifts for! I’m a horrible gifter; always waiting till the last minute and buying mediocare gifts, but with a few reviews of this year’s hottest gift guides I can offer you a little gifting guide! Take a look at these previews and don’t let the stress set it!

Let’s start with the makeup and beauty gifts – Sephora’s 2015 palettes and gift guides. My picks are based on other reviews and my own trials. My first pick would be the Glamglow Big Book of Sexy, a 10 piece collection of all of Glamglow’s cleansers and treatments for a complete skin regimen. I’m in love with Glamglow’s products and think this would be a great gift! Followed by the Smashbox Art. Love. Colour Master Class which can pretty much be the entirety of your eyeshadows and blush collection all in one, all with amazing colour payoff and quality! And last but not least, the Peter Thomas Roth Mask-A-Holic Kit. As a lover of the Peter Thomas Roth masks I think this gift is the jackpot! And of course there is still the gifting option of all beauty products that Sephora sell’s on a regular basis!

My next favourite gifting locale, Chapters/Indigo! Always one of my favourite places to wander and shop during the holiday season, and they have the perfect gifts! I love the Gold Script Plates that come in an adorably festive set of four, as well as the festive Galvanized Steel LED Marquee Set that comes in “Joy” “&” “Love”. And what better gift that a book of Cocktails, such as the Experimental Cocktail Club: Paris, London & New York by Romee de Goriainoff – 85 award winning cocktail recipes from around the world!

And one final gifting idea – nights in the city. For example, Phantom of the Opera comes to Toronto December 8th at the Princess of Whales Threatre. I’ve never seen it but have always wanted to. Check out your local concert listings or favourite sports teams. These gifts may be a little more pricey but I’ll always remember a special night out more than an unwrapped gift.

Do you have any great gifting ideas yet?
