2015 certainly has been the most stressful and life altering year to date. But with massive life changes, stress and anxiety comes an ever changing and dynamic group of products to get me through it all. So these are the best of the year – the products that I’ve absolutely loved and that made this year better.

This year seemed to be the year of the drugstore loves. I already know, based on my current wish list and soon to be delivered order from Sephora, that 2016 will be the year of the high end brands, or so it seems. Although there are countless products that I’ve raved about this year, these happen to stand out the most as the best of the year. Don’t let the lower price tag fool you. These products certainly hold their own in the world of beauty.

Maybelline has really been hitting home runs recently with eye products such as my ever-loved Colour Tattoo eyeshadows, as well as the LashSensational Mascara that rocked everyone’s world in 2015. L’Oreal has also stepped up their base game resulting in this years favourite foundation base, the Infallible Pro-Matte 24HR Foundation. I’ve been loving the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wizz (along with every other human being with eyebrows), and the Sephora brand eyeliner in Purple Stilettos. This made my eyes pop all summer and I loved it!. Keeping my nails strong after a horrible acrylic experience at the beginning of the year put Essie’s Millionails in the top products of the year as well. This baby is the bullet proof vests of nail polish. And for the lips – two really stand out to me. Rimmel Kate Moss in 104 has been my favourite daily lipstick of the year. And my favourite stand-out lipstick is the MAC RetroGlam Relentlessly Red lipstick! Been a great year for lips!

My two favourite finds of the entire year have been the Una Brennan Super Facialist cleansing oil, as well as the BrushEgg brush cleanser tool. These two have saved my face. Hands down two of the best products. My face is so clean and so are my brushes!

This year has been stressful and hard, but has also seen some amazing achievements here at Lipstick and L’Attitude. This year saw my followers double, and my views quadruple since last year, collaborations with two amazing brands (Revlon and Warby Parker), my camera equipment get beefed up, and my attention given to my blog increase 100%. I can only imagine what 2016 will bring and I can’t wait to put my heart and soul into all that I do!
