Do you ever have an item on your shopping list for so long that when you finally take the plunge and put it in your basket it’s such a joyous occasion that there should be fanfare? Okay, maybe that’s just me. And that’s the way it’s been with the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in the shade Copenhagen.

After so many trips to Rexall to find countless empty shelves and “Out of Stock” stickers on the Copenhagen slot, I finally found this little darling in the Rexall at the corner of Queen and University, and it was even on sale! It was my first of the Soft Matte Lip Creams and I didn’t really know what to expect I guess. I assumed it would be similar to other lip creams and stains but I have such a hard time with this one! Lip liners are necessary! I seem to just make the biggest mess.

After a little more application practice with this messy but gorgeous shade I really can’t wait to get my hands on more! Now that NYX is sold at Shoppers Drug Mart I look forward to redeeming my points on a big NYX haul! I have my eye on at least ten other Soft Matte Lip Creams in the shades Zurich, Cannes, Sydney, Istanbul, Milan, San Paulo, Prague, Budapest, Rome, and Monte Carlo!
