Top 5 – April

Spring has finally sprung! The weather may be flip-flopping, but it’s more warm than it is cold and the sun is shining! The grass is green, the birds are chirping, and I’m loving the small bits of exposed skin, the pink lips, and the perfectly flushed looking skin!

The month of April has been incredibly busy, but of course bad skin and dry, chapped hands don’t come at a convenient time. So I’ve been using a few products to help me along! Working in the food industry means constant hand washing with harsh soaps and rough paper towel as well as having my hands often elbow-deep in sanitizers. My skin has been so dry that my knuckles actually split the other day – OWWIE! So I’ve been using my favourite L’Occitane Hand Cream in both Pivoine Flora and Au Lait D’Amande; deeply hydrating and smelling amazing! But with the chapped hands this season also comes super dry face as well. But with my new gym and work-out regimen my sweaty face has been needing a bit of help from the little breakouts. So I’ve been using The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion to help moisturize but also clear my skin and control that sweaty shine!

My favourites for Spring always seem to be pink tinged! And this Spring is no exception. I’ve been LOVING the Urban Decay Naked Flushed palette. It’s gives the most PERFECT pinched cheek flush with it’s trio of bronzer, blush and highlight all in one palette. And for the lips, the NYX Liquid Suede cream lipstick in the shade Tea & CookiesI love the matte long-lasting formula and the colour is just perfect for this time of year!!

And last but not least for my top 5 products this month are my mini Tweezerman Tweezers which have been essential in my brow development! I’ve been trying to reshape my brows lately but letting them grow out a bit. It’s been a struggle trying not to pluck the weird stray hairs, but I’ve finally got them to the perfect shape thanks to my little adorable tweezers!

What have you been loving for the month of April?
