I know, I know, I’m a little too old to be writing a list to Santa. Don’t worry, I’m not really, I’m just hoping some of my loved ones see this little blog post, and it inspires them. After all, Christmas is as much about receiving as giving right? So, what exactly is on my Christmas wish list this year? Aw, I’m so glad you asked!
Warm Clothes
I always find myself getting cold through the winter months. It doesn’t matter how much I wear or how high the heating is, I feel the chill. That’s why this year, I’m hoping to get some lovely warm winter clothing and accessories. There’s plenty of options here. Browsing sites like Cuckooland.com I found some wonderful winter headbands. They are fluffy, look fantastic and will keep my head warm well into February. But that’s not all because I’m also hoping to get a new sheepskin jacket. This perfect coat lining will keep you warm all year around, even through the summer when it’s pouring down with rain.
Sparkle Sparkle
After all, what girl doesn’t want something shiny and glistening in her stocking on Christmas morning? This year I’ve got my sights set on a new pearl necklace. I’ve always wanted one, I’ve never had one, and if my loved ones are reading this, I might be in with a chance this year. Pearls are incredibly classy and always look stunning, but you have to be careful when buying them. You need to make sure you get high-quality pearls on a necklace that you buy.
Gilmore Girls, Grey’s, Buffy!
I do love my TV box sets and this year is the perfect time to get a copy of the Gilmore Girls. If you haven’t heard the news, specials are coming to Netflix at the end of December. I can’t wait, and I just know that watching the new series is going to make me want to see it from the beginning again. If you’ve never seen Gilmore Girls, you can see the new trailer on Youtube.com. I highly recommend it, but I have a soft spot for other TV shows too. I’d quite like to get my hands on a box set of Grey’s Anatomy or even Buffy too.
Mmm Yummy
I know there are plenty of people who hate the idea of getting chocolate for Christmas. I’m not one of them! As far as I’m concerned, Christmas is as much about gorging yourself on chocolate as it is anything else. The way I see it we can eat till we’re stuffed through Christmas and diet in the New Year. Great plan, right?
A Little Getaway
Last but not least I’d like someone to buy me a trip to a beautiful location or maybe just a weekend away. How romantic would it be to be told by your partner on Christmas morning that you’re being whisked away somewhere romantic in a few days? I’d love that, and for me, that would make for an unforgettable Christmas with a memory I would treasure forever.
Do let me know what you’re asking for this year won’t you? Perhaps I’ll borrow some of your ideas.
