Planning a wedding can be stressful. As the Bride, all questions are directed at you and you have to know exactly what you want before you get started. On top of that, you have to think about all of your guests. After all, they’re taking time out of their lives to celebrate your marriage and you want them to have the best day possible. One tradition when it comes to your guests is wedding favours. They’re usually placed on the wedding breakfast tables as a little thank you for attending. So, if you’re stuck for what to do for your guests, here are some ideas.

Cake Pops

These are ideal for any couple with sweet teeth. They are mini cakes on a lollipop stick, usually covered with a choice of chocolate and decoration, like sprinkles and icing. If you’ve got a large guest list, they’re also perfect for keeping people fed while you’re waiting for your food to be presented.

Adult Colouring

It’s the new trend for 2017 weddings. Adult colouring books have become more and more popular as a way for adults to de-stress and unwind after a long day. Now they’re being introduced as wedding favours. One sheet per guest and a few coloured pencils on the tables and it’s surprising how much fun your guests will have. Warning: you may find a few of your guests colouring during the speeches!

Pick n Mix

Another alternative for all the sweet tooth’s out there. Who doesn’t love a pick n mix? A variety of sweets in a little bag for each guest. You can even get personalized bags, personalized sweets such as love hearts and personalized napkins for when they’re finished. In fact, there isn’t much you can’t personalize these days.

Temporary Tattoos

This unique idea for wedding favours goes down a treat. Many people are choosing to go with henna style tattoos, usually in the same colours as the wedding. It’s great fun and it means lots of pictures will be taken.

Disposable Cameras

Some couples are choosing to give all of their guest’s disposable cameras. You may think it’s pointless because everyone has smart phones these days, but there’s something different about being given a disposable camera. Somehow it seems to give people a license to misbehave and the couple getting married gets to see their wedding from every angle. It’s certainly a great way to preserve memories.

Sparklers

This is ideal for couples planning a firework display after the reception. Give your guests a sparkler each and they can use them as the fireworks are going off. You can even buy packs of heart shaped sparklers for the day. Be cautious with young children if they’re given sparklers and make sure your venue has a safe way of deposing of them.

There are so many wedding favour ideas to choose from, it’s hard to narrow it down. Just remember that if your guests really love you, they’ll celebrate with you no matter what.
