There are a lot of things that go into planning a wedding and making sure that it all goes off without a hitch. Of course, it’s often more than any couple can handle on their own which means that there are plenty of things that can end up getting forgotten about or neglected. When that does happen, it’s usually pretty small things that might seem as though they don’t make much of a difference but can really have a big impact on your big day overall. With that in mind, here are a few small but important things that you don’t want to forget when your big day rolls around.

The photographer

Since your wedding is very likely to be one of the most important days of your entire life, it’s hardly surprising that you’re going to want to preserve the memories of it for as long as possible. Because of that, you should make sure to take some time find the best possible photographer. There are plenty of wedding photographers out there, but not all of them are going to be right for your wedding. Think about your wedding’s theme and venue so that you can figure which photographer will be best at capturing the atmosphere that you’re trying to create.

The place settings

The place settings are one of those things that a lot of people don’t really think about when it comes to a wedding, but that doesn’t mean that they’re not important. It’s best to think of them like the eyebrows of your wedding. Okay, that probably sounds bizarre, but it does make a kind of sense. After all, you don’t tend to notice someone’s eyebrows when you’re talking to them, but it’s pretty likely that you’d notice right away if they didn’t have any! Think carefully about your place settings and take the time to make sure that they fit the style of your wedding overall.

The seating arrangements

When you’re inviting a lot of people to your wedding, you’re never going to be able to guarantee that everyone will get along. However, what you can do is to make sure that you’re not putting people who don’t like each other right next to one another. By putting some thought into your seating arrangements then you can make sure that your guests are always seated next to people that they will get along with and your wedding can avoid as much tension or difficulty as possible.

Sure, these aren’t the most important things that to remember on your wedding day, but the bigger stuff is often the kinds of things that you’re not going to forget anyway. After all, no one is ever going to turn up to their wedding without the rings, or their dress are they? By making a note and thinking carefully about the kinds of things that you might forget amidst all of the chaos of planning then you can make sure that it all gets off without the slightest hitch.
