Australia is a beautiful country but also an enormous one. You might have known that you wanted to visit this majestic place for a long time, but where do you even begin on such an expedition? Nobody could see everything that Australia has to offer in one go. There’s so much unpopulated wilderness that you’d be wandering for years before you saw it all. Still, there are certain cities, towns, and natural landmarks that simply must be seen or explored if you’re going to make a trip to the land down under. Here’s a flawless guide to seeing Australia.

Make all the necessary preparations.

This probably isn’t the first time you’ve jetted off on a vacation or any sort of traveling experience, but a visit to Australia isn’t quite like other trips you’ve taken. This isn’t the same as a 2-week break in some all-inclusive hotel on a Greek island; you need a plan of action before you even step foot on a plane to the sunny land of Australia. Obviously, when it comes to the route you’re going to take and the destinations you’re going to visit, the rest of this article should give you some inspiration.

But it’s up to you when it comes to how much time you’re going to spend in each place you visit. Just make sure you’ve prepared transportation and accommodation so that you know how long you’re going to stay in every town or city and how you’re going to get from point A to point B. If you’re planning on exploring Australia for a few months then you might even want to look into getting a visa so that you can extend your traveling experience. The point is that you’ll have a much better time in Australia if you plan out all the details. It’d ruin the trip if you didn’t have time to see everything you wanted to see. Without further ado, let’s discuss the best things to do and see whilst you’re in the land down under.

See the sights in Perth.

It wouldn’t be a visit to Australia if you didn’t see the beautiful city of Perth. The skyline is awe-inspiring in itself, but there’s a lot more to unpack when you dig a little deeper into the heart of this city. You should look into the Swan River scenic cruise so as to get a good look at Perth in its entirety. You might even want to look into car hire with a good price whilst you’re in the city because it’s a huge place to explore on foot. Again, Australia has so much to offer that you really need to make sure you avoid dawdling; there’s so much to see, and you don’t want to miss anything. Make sure you visit stunning historical sites such as the Perth Mint whilst you’re there too. There’s a lot of culture to this city, both old and new.

Drive down the Great Ocean Road.

This is an experience that can’t be missed whilst you’re in Australia. Yes, you most likely want to visit fantastic cities such as Sydney with its iconic Opera House and looming skyline, but there’s a lot of natural beauty in Australia that just can’t be overlooked if you’re going to travel such a great distance. Visit Victoria and head out to the Great Ocean Road in order to admire a stunning coastline and glorious green pastures on either side of you. You could stop off at beaches along the way and get a fuller picture of one stretch of Australia’s coastline. There’s no point to staying in one place.
