Cause it’s been awhile and I have a brand new haircut. I thought it was about time to put my face back on this blog and share with you some daily work outfits. Stay tuned for more.
Friday’s at work are a little more relaxed, hence the Birkenstocks. So today I put together something that I thought was trendy for the end of summer but also classic enough for an office. Coincidentally I happen to be decked out in The Gap. I’m wearing a pair of army green cropped Khaki’s, the Roll-Sleeve Tee in pink, and a newly acquired black vest that I found in the Gap Factory outlet in Niagara. And my trusty Salina Birkenstocks to round it all out. With my ever-present Pandora rings, Cartier watch and Grande Occhali glasses, I think it’s a comfy and classic Friday outfit.

It’s not often that Corey and I dress up and head into the city for a night. But on this occasion, our third anniversary, we knew it was time for something special. We take turns planning our anniversaries, always planning a special night rather than gifts (we gave up on that awhile ago) and this year it was his turn. Corey surprised me with tickets to the Toronto Symphony and we couldn’t have had a better night.
I guess anniversaries are a time to dress girly and wear a nice dress, but I guess I went for the butch look. I wore my black Levi’s Highwaisted Jeans, a Violet & Claire Mint blouse and a Banana Republic blazer. Finished off with black smoking slippers, Fossil Black and Gold bag, bracelets including Birks, Pandora, Peoples and Links of London, and Sephora Always Red Lip Stain.
What do you think? What are you favourite things to do for an anniversary or special occasion?

The days are starting to get a little cooler – off and on sunshine and storms. Early September and back to school time always sees a odd arrangement of summer attire mixed with autumn wear. A mix of those who wish to hang on to summer for as long as they can, and those who can’t wait for the cooler sweater weather that’s upon the horizon. So for a little shopping trip with friends this past weekend, I decided to hold tight to the final warm days of summer before I excitingly dive into my scarves and leather jacket in the up coming weeks. I’ve had this dress for years and have always had the most awkward time arranging it. I used to put t-shirts or stripped long-sleeves under it and I ended up looking like a school marm. But with a black bandeau and a belt, this dress is perfect for warm weather wanderings.
Ps. Like my lipstick? I’m so in love with my personal lipstick from that Sephora Loves Bite event
