New Spring Office-Wear with Old Navy!

New seasons mean new fashions. I mean, who doesn’t love a good splurge? Time to shake off the moths and show some bare legs. Although the past week’s weather may not act like it, it’s Spring-time!

As someone who has worn a uniform to the office for the past two years, I’m severely lacking in the wardrobe department. But over the past three months I have slowly been adding staples and seasonal statements to give my clothing that much needed fahsionista boost. A few weeks ago I took advantage of a massive Old Navy sale and I amped up my ‘Spring-Time Office Wardrobe’. With interviews pouring in and the hopes of employment in the near future I knew I’d need some good stuff – and I’d wear it all outside the office too!

I started with some essentials; three pairs of Old Navy’s Pixie Cropped Pant in Black, Black with White Polka Dots, and a beautiful Royal Blue Patterned pair. I also got a beautiful Linen-Blend Sleeveless Shift Dress in denim, and an Eyelet Lace dress in Floral. Old Navy Sleeveless Blouses are perfect for Spring and Summer as well, and I’ve filled my wardrobe with quite a few of them as they’re great to layer under cardigans and blazers.

So if you’re thinking of revamping your professional wardrobe or looking for a few new staples for everyday then check out Old Navy! The price is definitely right and the quality of their stuff is getting better and better!

Zara Mini-Messanger Bag

I’ve been looking for a bright coloured mini-sized bag for awhile now. Something simple, and cross-body. Yet for some unknown reason, as popular as they might be this spring, I had the hardest time locating one that I truly loved. Yet stumbling into Zara on a whim with Sandra recently I discovered this little beauty and fell in love right away.

For a simple $34, this wonderful little bag is the perfect size for a few credit cards, one lipstick, and my phone. Perfect for going out and such a great colour for this time of year. These bright colours are certainly making a splash lately. From what I saw in the store the bag also came in black, which was very sleek and classy and could possibly be a further addition to my collection. Online the bag (called the ‘Zara Mini-Messanger with Metallic Fastening’) also comes in white.

Don’t you just love Zara bags?
